Excellent fish tacos. Salmon taco was delicious.

Fun little taco shop and very tasty. I had the mushroom and tofu taco special and it was excellent. Plus their guac is worth the trip on its own!

The best quesadillas

I split a double patty burger with my +1. It didn't taste thaaaat amazing. It's an okay flavor. But it's not like I can't taste a difference from a regular meat burger. You totally can my dudes. But that doesn't mean it's a bad burger!! Also the cheese isn't so bad! I've had nasty nasty vegan cheese but Taco Loco's cheese is good :)

Fresh delicious food. I had the steam clams, my husband had the surf and turf and I also had the cioppino which had, crab legs, fish, scallops and shrimp, best I ever had. Great service too and out parking was validated for an hour. Was with the drive into the city.

I've been going to taco loco for a long time now. I would come here after jumping off the rock and I still crave this place. I'm really happy to see that they are still open during the covid-19 times and now that I'm vegan, this is one of the few places that I've been going to for a long time that I still really enjoy and can eat. I got the black and mushroom tofu burger just like I have gotten for years now and I brought my daughter for the first time and she ordered a chicken taco. I thought she might want a lobster taco but she had seafood the day before and the chicken looked good. The guacamole is just as good as I always remember I definitely recommend this place.

The food is delicious so I had to give it some starts. The service is atrocious. We've been here twice and each time a different person has taken our order. Both times they were extremely cold, rude, abrasive. And for no reason at all! I'm extremely courteous on general so it's especially shocking when someone is still rude. We went there again to a) give it another try and b) because the food IS very good. Just be prepared to be treated poorly when you go here. It that's a big turn off don't bother going

Absolutely delicious. We had one dish that was Russian roulette with habanero. Quite an adventure. Sake selection was just enough. Cocktails looked delicious. Best Vegan I've had yet!

For the price you pay to the amount of food wasn't worth it for me... I could drive into LA for some real Mexican street tacos instead. Meat had little flavor, rice was very blan upside was the guacamole very fresh needed more salt & spice tho but delicious. Service was okay, when ordering extra the guy behind the counter seemed bothered...

What an incredible dining experience!! The long line is definitely worth the wait! We ordered 13 dishes and all of them were phenomenal. I can't wait to dine at shizen again.

Good vegan options. About 4 actually. Tried all except the hemp burger. Blk (blackened) phish taco, blk mushroom taco and blk potato taco. Owner was friendly. Prices are ok- a little ok the Higher side are 4.25-4.65/ taco

Good vegan options. I got the blk vegan phish taco, blk mushroom Taco and blk potato taco. All were good. Owner was friendly and gave me some of his drink he was drinking which was a coconut, spirulina and matcha drink. Tasted good. Would come back again. Only other vegan option was hemp burger (about 10.00). Prices for the Tacos were between 4.25-4.65 - a little on the pricier side.

The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I surely liked the vibes of this place. Excellent spot to take the family out for lunch.

The guy behind the register was pretty cool and the food was great I has the shrimp burrito and my wife had the beef, chicken and carnita tacos they were good as well

A great selection of street and seafood tacos. They have other stuff of course, but I came for the tacos and have no regrets.

Friendly and delicious

I believe the first time I went here was in 1997 back when I didn't even live in O.C. but was brought by a friend who lived in Laguna Niguel and it was the first place I thought to go eat when I moved to HB a few years later. I've since lived in OC off and on for around 20 years total and in almost each different city in the county, and no matter which one I reside in, it is always the first place that comes to mind when I feel like having a taco. The mushroom & tofu taco has been my go to for almost 25 years and it is just as delicious every single time. I'm thankful this staple has survived for so long and I can't imagine ever coming to Laguna Beach if it were no longer there. The owner and consistently awesome staff on top of great and healthy food make this a must go destination for anyone who hasn't been.

Staff was rude and not listening to me, she stood there with a blank face like I was not even there. I will never come back to this place ever again. I mean come on where is the friendly service... ? Weird

Gave my order to someone else. Had to wait for like half an hour. Lied to me that my order has been taken care of. The cashiers work without gloves or sanitizing their hands in between ppl, take all cards etc.and then open boxes with food to verify orders by hands (because everything is so messed up and they need to check orders)... So you might or might not get covid here but not your tacos for sure

Went back after 30 yrs, was great, can't beat their salsas and guacamole! Blackened tacos were the bomb

Food was super delicious and not what youd normally get at most taco places. But still nice to try something different and they have healthy options for you if you're watching out for yourself and the people are great! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Good tacos and ceviche

I’ve been a huge fan since the early 90’s and crave this food daily!!! Everything is amazing and I especially like the blackened mushroom tofu burgers. Can’t go wrong with anything you order.....it’s all fresh, kitchen is always clean, and the staff and owner are amazing. My favorite restaurant forever!

Local joint and the only place open late in sleepy laguna. Blackened Chicken nachos are bomb or amazing blackened fish tacos. Hippie and Vegan friendly

Great Tacos

1st time there, was great...

If I could give 0 stars on this review I would. This was my 1st try at this place and DEFINITELY my last!! Just a quick review of my experience: Pros:...................... I'm in Laguna?? Cons: -> Food a bit pricey (beside the point, if it was GOOD food I wouldn't care much). ** --> They got my order wrong. I had ordered 2 burritos for both of my kids (repeated it TWICE since they repeated my order back incorrectly the 1st time). Once the food was done (long wait) and I noticed I received 2 Tacos instead of 2 burritos, I immediately went to tell owner/worker that i received the incorrect order and handed my receipt. The owner/worker pointed out how "they" didn't get the order wrong since it showed correctly on the receipt. We stood there for approx. 5 minutes going back and forth as I was trying to explain I NEVER order the tacos to begin with (and the receipt isn't clear on it's itemization). Conclusion..... owner/work kept insisting " they " didn't hear wrong but that I had ordered wrong?!?! And even when I kept stating that I still need the burritos ordered as my kids are starving beyond this point, the owner asked for the tacos back (HELLOOO!!! COVID?!?! YOU WANT THE TACOS THAT YOU HANDED TO ME BACK?!) and advised he will still need to charge me for the burritos. I still paid for the burritos that "I had ordered incorrectly" because i have 2 starving kids that ate the tacos anyways since they still charged me and the tacos were not enough or fulfilling. -->food has no flavor

Good food not as good as I remember, thirsty for tips charge more than advertised on the menu just overall too pricey please stop putting the price of the lease and your payroll onto every plate sold some of us can not afford to live in Laguna Beach but love to visit and wouldn't mind a taste without sweating the finances. PS used to live here and afford to and I still wouldn't mind a price break on a bite to eat that wasn't fast food here and there I think you'd see more volume and overall profits. What do I know there's plenty of people in town who wouldn't bat an eyelash if you raise the price. Still some good eats oh, other Good Eats in Laguna try La Sirena either location, Mandarin King, Fusion Sushi, san shi go sushi tried Jimmy's lemon roll
